Great article! Your point about metabolic syndrome is key here. Two years ago, I decided to go keto to lose some weight (I ended up dropping 55 pounds). Before that, I used to wake up starving. After dropping the carbs, my metabolic syndrome reversed itself almost immediately, and I found I didn't need to eat breakfast anymore. I still eat plenty of food, I just eat two larger meals now. I even lift weights before eating my first meal of the day. I follow (roughly) a 16/8 intermittent fasting schedule with no problem (still keto), and have had no problem maintaining a healthy weight since slimming down. Best health decision I ever made. So, for those of you wondering whether to give this a try, I can't recommend it enough.
