I believe I might be one of the few with this gene. Ever since puberty ended, I've only needed six hours of sleep to feel fine. I also always wake up alert even if I'm awakened by the dog or whatever in the middle of the night. And when I do sleep, I always feel like half of the time I'm only half asleep.
