I too lift weights while on the ketogenic diet and have had similar results (it's been 14 months). The best part is that I can work out in the morning 12-14 hours after the last time I ate with no problem. I think many people don't take the time to become keto-adapted. Once your body makes the shift from carbs to fat, you have all the energy you need at any time.
